You all might know A.Lundr, the only member of Panopticon. Plainwords is one of his side projects, and for now he's a drummer. This 3-track demo features very good blackened crust/hardcore sound with the same distinctive style of drumming you can hear on Panopticon's albums. Don't know if they plan to release a full-length album, but at least recently they have recorded a new song called "Opacity".

If you like Panopticon (and I think most of you do), feel free to check out this demo. Very decent stuff indeed.

  1. Plainwords broke up last year due to some ideological differences with our bassist and Jeremy having some issues with time due to his job as a tattoo artist. Crow and i decided to keep going by starting a new band,SEIDR, who is touring in january with peregrine and velnias.

we took down the myspace page that had our info on it,because we just wanted to band to be dead, so there wasnt much info about the breakup. Our ex bassist has posted some stuff on last.fm about the band, but it is not an official statement from the band in any way.

unfortunately, there wont be a full length. there is however one final demo,"a new world lies in the ashes of..."

the line up for that recording was:

    A.Lundr:drums/growl
    Jeremy Fitzgerald: guitar/howl
    W.Crow:guitar/bass

here is a link to the mediafire upload of that demo:
